SPRNG v2.0

Overview

SPRNG is a parallel random number generator produced by Florida State University, it consists of a number of libraries to generate random numbers over multiple processors. This software can be accessed using the sprng module on wren, fermat and green.

Restrictions on Use

There are no known restrictions on the usage of SPRNG.

Set Up Procedure

On the Origins you need to load the sprng module.

Running the Code

Help on the usage of the library is provided by Florida State University web site (see below). In order to link in the library you need to add -lsprng to your link line.
